1.Minimum Credits for Graduation: 131 2.University Common Required Credits: 28; University Major Required Credits: 56; Major Elective Credits: 28; Interdisciplinary & Other Elective Credits: 19. Interdisciplinary & other elective credits refer to the credits that students can earn by taking General Education courses, various departmental courses (including their own department and other departments), university-level courses, and college-level courses. Among them, a maximum of 4 credits can be recognized from General Education courses. 3.All undergraduate students are required to reach the minimum level of English proficiency or above as one of the necessary requirements for graduation. For more details on the relevant standards of English proficiency, please consult with the website of the Office of Academic Affairs, National Taipei University of Technology. 4.A total of 15 credit units of General Education courses is required, 12 credit units of which shall include 4 credits each for the Society and Rule of Law, Nature and Science, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship dimensions. The other 3 credits can be earned across dimensions. 5.Teaching of Technical Fundamentals - Fundamental Experiment Classes of our department include: Video Production and Expression, Reading Comprehension and Oral Presentation, Tour Guide Techniques and Practices, Manufacturing Processes, Performance/ Display Art and Expression. Above 5 are required courses; Students must complete for graduation. 6.Students from foreign countries, Hong Kong, and Macao, whose graduating schools are comparable in level and nature to Taiwan’s senior high schools and whose graduating year is equivalent to the 2nd grade of Taiwan’s senior high schools, are considered as having a level of education adequate for registering for the entrance examination for the various 4-year bachelor programs in Taiwan’s universities. Suchlike undergraduate students, when admitted to National Taipei University of Technology’s Bachelor programs, are required to earn extra 12 credit units from the elective courses defined in their respective departments’ curriculum tables. 7.Specialization Module courses taken in other departments shall count towards the credits for interdisciplinary study. Students need to complete a series of courses in either the interdisciplinary programs, general programs, second major, minor, or double majors. The relevant regulations of the graduation process shall be prescribed separately. 8.For students of our department during study period, the maximum credits of Off-Campus Internship counted in Major Elective Credits is 9 credits. 9.Students may be allowed to take Programming Basics offered in other departments. 10.This List of Credits for Graduation is for students of academic year 2023. |
