Understanding of basic mental models serves as a guide to analyzing information and judging reality when trapped in a tough situation. The course focuses on the following mental models from different subjects and areas: First Principle Thinking, Thought Experiment, Probabilistic Thinking, Inversion, Higher-order Awareness, Abstract, Inverted-U Curve, Catalysts and the Human Network, Inertia and Friction, Route Dependence, Red Queen Effect, The Reframing Problem Method, Black Swan and Gray Rhino, etc. The course is dedicated to those who are eager to get away from the comfort zone created by habitual and institutional mode of thinking.
