1.Minimum of credits for graduation: 32 credits. 2.8 Credits of required courses: Including 6 credits for Master Thesis, 2 credits for Seminar; 24 credits for electives courses. 3.Mark “◎” represents category of eligible courses. Students need to choose and pass at least 3 such courses; to validate as graduation credits, the 3 courses must be from those offered by day division of Institute of Manufacturing Technology (IMT). 4.At most 3 credits can be accepted for “Concurrent Engineering Technique Workshop”. 5.Max number of credits allowed outside the department is 6 credits. For thesis requirements, students can take up to 9 credits after approval from advisor and department chair; classes from night division are also considered “outside the department”. 6.Students accepted after year 2010 into the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering need to fulfill English graduation requirements, more detailed information can be found at the institute’s website. 7.Number of elective credits for international students is 24 credits. English-taught courses offered by the departments in College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science or College of Engineering can be validated as IMT courses, after approval from advisor and department chair. 8.Each graduate student shall pass the minimum English proficiency requirement(s) for graduation, and shall all meet the criteria of the English proficiency tests set by the department (if any). Students may refer to the department websites for their English proficiency criteria set by each department. 9.The above regulations apply to freshman starting academic year 2019 and onwards. |
