5605041 Mechanical System Design and Analysis 3.0 3
Description An increasing number of physical systems, ranging from bio-systems (human-body models) to mechanisms (robots) to flexible structures (satellite booms), are being modeled as a multi-body mechanical systems. This course is trying to use Euler-Lagrange methodology and Kane's Equations to build up these mechanical system models. And to investigate how to design and analysis the characteristic and stability of them. Also, the course will introduce the most popular multi-body mechanical systems program packets and the students need to use one of these packages to solve an engineering project.
