1. Minimum graduation credits: 130 2. Common credits: 33, Required credits: 59, Elective credits: 38 3. Maximum elective credits campuswide: 15 (For interdisciplinary study, major elective credits are at least 2 credits for inter-departmental course, 6 credits for inter-collegiate courses taken before graduation. The same course cannot be taken twice no matter which department offers them.) 4. All undergraduate students are required to reach the minimum level of English proficiency or above as one of the necessary requirements for graduation. For more details on the relevant standards of English proficiency, please consult with the website of the Office of Academic Affairs, National Taipei University of Technology. 5. Students who did not graduate from the related department of automobile technique of vocational high school are required to take and pass Automobile Engineering, and two of the three elective courses, including Automobile Experiment (I), Automobile Experiment (II), and Automobile Experiment (III). 6. Students who pass the elective courses for Semester Practical Training can be exempted from taking Summer Internship, but still need to satisfy minimum graduation credits. A maximum of 11 credits from Practical Training courses can be counted for graduation. 7. “Teaching of Technical Fundamentals” – “Fundamental Experiment Classes”, including Program Design(一), Vehicle Electrical Laboratory, Vehicle Chassis and Structure Laboratory, Vehicle Control Laboratory, and Vehicle Powertrain Laboratory. Total number of courses (M) = Minimum number of courses (N) =5 subjects, all of which are required course in the department. Students must take and pass three out of these four Vehicle Laboratory courses before they can graduate. 8. A total of 18 credit units of General Education courses is required, 12 credit units of which shall include 4 credits each for “Society and Rule of Law”, “Nature and Science”, and “Innovation and Entrepreneurship”. These three major dimensions are designated courses of the College of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. For the remaining 6 credits, students can choose General Education courses. 9. Form 5 students (as specified in Article 18.1 of Academic Regulations) should take 12 extra credits of professional elective courses for graduation. 10. Students must complete interdisciplinary studies before graduation, to take at least one 2-credit course in the College, and to study at least two courses 6-credit outside the College (including inter-school electives, professional workplace English linking program series, last mile courses, interdisciplinary topics and courses offered by administrative units in response to major projects, etc.). Courses may not be repeated with the department. If necessary, the credits of courses taken in other departments can be accumulated, and there is no limit to the number of credits. 11. Specialization Module courses taken in other departments shall count towards the credits for interdisciplinary study. 12. This list of required courses for graduation is applicable to students admitted in the academic year 2022. |
