Note :
1. Minimum credits for graduation: 132 credits.
2. Common compulsory: 33 credits; Professional Required: 63 credits; Professional Electives: 36 credits (Students should take at least one course in each type of elective courses with mark A, B and C)
3. Professional elective credits for cross-department (or cross-university) are up to 15 credits at most upon approval. For interdisciplinary study, major elective credits are at least 2 credits for inter-departmental course taking, 6 credits for inter-collegiate course taking before graduation. The same course cannot be taken twice no matter which department held by.
4. For graduation, students must pass “Teaching of Technical Fundamentals” courses of “ Fundamental Experiment Classes” with mark “◆” and “Fundamental Theory Classes” with mark “◇”.
5. “Internship” credits are common required credits. Students who pass “Semester Practical Training” course can waive “Internship” course, but should take other major elective credits for fulfilling the “Internship” credits. Relevant internship courses, such as “Semester Practical Training (I) and (II)”, etc. can be up to 18 credits at most upon approval.
6. Students cannot take the class “Experiments for Optoelectronics Experiments (II) ” without passing “Experiments for Optoelectronics Experiments (I)
7. All undergraduate students are required to reach the minimum level of English proficiency or above as one of the necessary requirements for graduation. For more details on the relevant standards of English proficiency, please consult with the website of the Office of Academic Affairs, National Taipei University of Technology.
8. If the department chairman or the curriculum committee agrees that students take courses at cooperation schools by Joint Dual-Degree Agreement, the courses can be adopted as graduation credits.
9. Students from foreign countries, Hong Kong, and Macao, whose graduating schools are comparable in level and nature to Taiwan’s senior high schools and whose graduating year is equivalent to the 2nd grade of Taiwan’s senior high schools (according to the admission rule 18-1) should take 12 more department major required credits for graduation.
10.The dimension credits stipulated by each college are as follows:
College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science: 4 credits for the humanities and art curriculum, 4 credits for the nature and science curriculum, and 4 credits for the innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum.
After completing 12 credits from the dimensional curriculum designated by the college, the remaining 6 credits are open for selection from these curriculums:humanities and art; Social and Rules of Law; nature and science; innovation and entrepreneurship, until a total of 18 credits of general curriculum are completed for graduation
11.If students finish second professional specialty module course of other departments, those credits count for cross-disciplinary courses.
12.The freshman course, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, is a major elective course as demanded by the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Students must enroll in this course to fulfill the graduate requirements.
13.The seven fundamental courses as demanded by the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science include: Circuit Theory I, Circuit Theory II, Electronics I, Electronics II, Linear Algebra, Probability, and Digital Logic (Design). Student who receives a failing grade of any of those fundamental courses for the first time is allowed to enroll in and take the same course offered by the departments in the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for the graduate requirements.
14.Before graduating, a student must finish the following cross-disciplinary courses. A student must take at least one course with at least 2 credits offered by the other three departments in the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. A student must take at least two courses from other departments in the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for at least 6 credits, including: cross campus courses, professional on the job English transition project serious courses, last-mile courses, cross-disciplinary special project courses, and courses offered by the administration for the priority projects. Alternatively, a student must take at least three courses from other departments outside the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for at least 8 credits. Those credits count for cross-disciplinary courses. In addition, it is not allowed to take those course offered by other department that the major department of the student also offers the same course. When necessary, credits earned from other departments can be cumulated without limits.
15.This course guide is effective for students admitted in 2020 fall.

相關規定事項:
1.最低畢業學分:132學分。
2.共同必修:33學分;專業必修:63學分;專業選修:36學分(選修課程標示為A、B、及C類課程者,須修習各類至少1門)。
3.跨系所專業選修,至多承認畢業學分為15學分。
4.課程標示◆者表示「技術扎根教學」-「基礎實驗課程」,課程標示◇者表示「技術扎根教學」-「基礎學理課程」,學生皆須修習及格,始得畢業。
5.修習系專業選修校外實習相關課程及格者,得選擇免修共同必修「校外實習」,惟其共同必修「校外實習」之學分應以系專業選修課程補足之。於修業期間所修習之校外實習相關課程(如共同必修「校外實習」、專業選修「學期校外實習」、…等課程),最多僅得採計18學分計入畢業學分。
6.□光電實驗為連續性課程,未曾修讀「光電實驗」(一)不得逕行修讀「光電實驗」(二)。
7.學生畢業須符合本校學生英文畢業門檻實施要點規定,相關規範請至教務處網站查詢。
8.依本校「雙聯學制」辦法赴境外合作學校修習課程者,於境外合作學校修習經系所主管或系所課程委員會同意之相關科系課程,須符合協議書規定者,始得採計列為畢業學分。
9.中五生(依學則第18之1條說明入學之學生)應加修本系專業選修科目12學分,始得畢業。
10.通識博雅課程應修滿18學分,其中「人文與藝術」、「自然與科學」及「創新與創業」等三大向度為電資學院指定向度課程,以上每向度至少需選修4學分課程,計12學分;另餘6學分,學生可不分向度任選通識博雅課程修習。
11.另學生修畢他系第二專長模組化課程,視同完成前述跨領域學習。
12.光電一「*電機資訊科技」為院訂專業選修課程,學生須確實完成修習,始得畢業。
13.學院基礎課程共七門課,包括「電子學(一)(二)」、「電路學(一)(二)」、「線性代數」、「機率」、「數位邏輯(設計)」,學生於本系第一次修習此七門課程不及格者,得至學院各系重修此七門課程,均承認其學分。
14.學生畢業前須完成跨領域學習,以修讀院內他系至少1門2學分專業課程,並修讀院外他系至少2門6學分專業課程(含校際選課、專業職場英文銜接計畫系列課程、最後一哩、跨領域專題及行政單位因應重大計畫開設之課程等);或完成修習院外他系至少3門8學分專業課程,採計為跨系所選修學分。修讀他系之課程不得與本系重複。必要時修讀他系之課程學分得採累計,不限門數。
15.本課程科目表適用於109學年度入學新生。
