6504536 Introduction to Fourier optics 3.0 3
Description Fourier optics provides a description and analysis of the free-space propagation of light waves based on the theory of Fourier transform and linear systems. In this course, we will discuss the following topics: (1) Fourier transform, (2) Signals and systems, (3) Propagation of light in free space, (4) Diffraction of light, (5) Scalar diffraction theory, (6) Image formation, (7) Analysis of Coherent and Incoherent Systems, and (8) Optical Information Processing including Holography, Diffractive optical elements, etc.
