課程大綱 This course is to analyze the macroeconomic policy, international economy, business cycles, government policy, exchange rate and other macroeconomic-related issues. The course will be taught with case studies and journal literature. Group discussions are needed.

課程進度 a 週次單元一 Introduction 二 The data of macroeconomics 三 National income 四 Money and inflation 五 The open economy 六 Unemployment 七 Economic growth I 八 Economic growth II 九 Midterm exam 十 Economic fluctuations 十一 Aggregate demand 十二 Aggregate supply 十三 IS-LM model I 十四 IS-LM model II 十五 IS-LM model III 十六 Macroeconomic policy 十七 Group presentation: group 1-6 (20-30 mins per group) 十八 Group presentation: group 7-12 (20-30 mins per group)

評量方式與標準 attendance 10% presentations 60% class discussion 30%
