The purposes of the present lecture would be: Basics of joining processes (principles/species) Welding metallurgy (melting/heat-affected zone/microstructure) Fundamental understanding of joint characterization/evaluation Principle and application of welding processes Organization and presentation skills in English throughout the literature review
