課程大綱	This cause will introduce the management science and application of personnel, finance, safety, material, quality, schedule, and environmental protection. Meanwhile, the analysis methods of activity research and system simulation will also be discussed.
課程進度	Important dates are presented in the Course Schedule below. The instructor reserves the right to modify the Course Schedule and course content associated with graded components as needed in response to events that occur during the semester. Any such changes will be discussed during class meetings. It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of these changes. Day1: Dr. Tu Introduction to system dynamics and Vensim. System dynamics in product valuation. System dynamics in manpower decisions. Day2: Dr. Tu System dynamics in manpower decisions. Movie: “The Corporation” and discussions on modern corporations. Personal project using Vensim (due X/X) Day3: Dr. Chen Establish Environmental indicators. A case study of reservoir management. Day4: Dr. Chen Application of 3E (environment, economic, energy) model. Cost and benefit analysis of renewable energy on a brown field. Day5: Dr. Lo The Needs for Causal, Explanatory Models in Risk Assessment. Day6: Dr. Lo Application of Decision Tree in Decision Making
評量方式與標準	Students will finish X assignments to successfully finish the course. The assignments will be assigned in class. There will be no final examination, but the students will be quizzed frequently in class, which will be included as part of the final grades. Attendance and class participation (25%) Quizzes (30%) Assignments (45%)
