課程大綱 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORKING LANGUAGES OF THIS COURSE ARE ENGLISH AND CHINESE. 此筆譯入門課程旨在使學生熟悉中英翻譯的基本概念、技巧與原則。課程中亦將介紹中英對比分析與翻譯之關聯，並協助學生將語言對比知識應用於翻譯實務中。學生將能於本課程中習得各類型翻譯所需之策略。 This is an introductory course aiming to familiarize students with basic concepts, skills and principles of Chinese-English translation. Moreover, the relevance of Chinese-English contrastive analysis to translation practices will be introduced, and students will learn how to apply the linguistic knowledge to practical work. By the end of the course, student will develop useful and appropriate translation strategies to deal with a range of translation tasks.
