課程大綱	Students will acquire English competence to conduct business in the commercial world, including such areas as investment, finance, supply chain, marketing and sales, and risk management. Contemporary literature on world economies, free trade and capitalism will be read. In addition, the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be introduced.

評量方式與標準	Attendance policy: Seven or more absences from Week 3 onwards will result in a grade of 0% for the course. Assessment: Mid-term* 25% Final exam* 35% Group presentation 30% Attendance and participation 10% * At the lecturer’s sole discretion, a make-up Mid-term or Final exam may be granted upon presentation of a valid proof of illness (medical certificate or record of hospitalization) within 10 days of the date of absence.
