課程大綱本課程的目的一，將藉由五個面向了解企業倫理的本質，分別（1）廠商的社會責任，（2）消費者的保護，（3）員工的權益，（4）員工對公司的責任，（5）雇主與員工關係。目的二，進一步教授ESG及聯合國SDGs指標的基本定義，藉由國、內外的個案討論來深根學生對於企業永續經營的觀念。最後，透過對於ESG與市場機會、責任投資原則、環境足跡 (碳足跡、水足跡等) 盤點等，來訓練製作永續報告書的基礎能力 The objective of this course is to appreciate the essential of Business Ethics through five main faucets: (1) Corporate social responsibility, (2) Consumer protection, (3) Employee's rights and benefits, (4) Responsibility of employee to the firms, and (5) Employer-employee relations. The second objective is to further explain the definitions of ESG and SDGs, and then to root the concept of sustainable management to students through local and international case studies. Finally, through ESG market opportunities, principles for responsible investment, inventory of environmental footprint (carbon footprint, water footprint, etc.), we expect to build up students the basic ability to generate the ESG report.

課程進度 In the era of technological & social growth at an exponential speed, more than ever, business leaders across the globe are facing even more challenging issues, not just economic aspects but also legal and ethical aspects. In this elite IMBA program of NTUT, this course is specifically designed for developing future leaders for corporations & organizations in various business domains. How to simultaneously achieve the corporate objectives and fulfill the ethical responsibilities without compromising fundamental principles and standards of conduct when facing dilemma is imperative for us to learn and ponder upon. With this vision and mission in mind, the lecturer is committed to inspire the students’ talent within as in all the other executive management programs. This IMBA course will equip all participating international students with multiple pillars of those grounds in being great leaders in the future, including building fundamental mindset and value system for managing challenging issues both economically and ethically, framework of strategic thinking and organizational structuring, and practical cross-cultural business cases and simulations. All IMBA students who participate in this course will be expected to be well-prepared with passionate learning attitude to JOIN proactively group discussions, cross-cultural idea brainstorming, business scenario simulation, deductive-and-inductive reasoning practice, individual and team projects, and business case studies. Week 1 : Business Ethics Course Orientation + Details of Teaching Philosophy, Teaching methods, Learning & Grading Evaluation, Topics etc. Week 2: Global Cases – fundamental dimensions of Business ethics Week 3: Corporate Social Responsibility Week 4: Harvard Business Case study and analysis 1 Week 5: Protection for Consumers Week 6: Harvard Business Case simulation & practice 2 Week 7: Employees’ rights and benefits Week 8: Harvard Business Case simulation & practice 3 Week 9: Mid-term Exam week Week 10: Employer-Employee Relations and Employees’ responsibility Week 11: Team Case studies Week 12 ~ 14: ESG and SDG Week 15: Harvard case study and integration Week 16: Final project themes discussions and simulation. Week 17: Rehearsal and Integration for Final projects Week 18: Final project presentation and Reflection

評量方式與標準 The 1st week participation: 5% Class Participation, Presentations, Team work, and Assignments: 80% Final Project 15%
