課程大綱	An embedded system is a computing system designed for a specific function or set of tasks and integrated into a device or product. 1. Design and implement a basic communication protocol (packet format, length, checksums, error handling, and retransmission strategy). 2. Use an RTOS (such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr) to establish multitasking, synchronization (Semaphore, Queue, Mutex), and time management. 3. Create a userspace program + systemd service + simple network communication (Socket, MQTT, HTTP) on an Embedded Linux platform. 4. Write modular firmware/system services on an MCU or Linux platform, implementing GPIO, timers, UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, and PWM.

彈性學習 (17-18週)	類別 ● 線上數位教材學習(Coursera、edX、磨課師等)(Online digital learning (Coursera, edX, MOOCs, etc.)) ● 遠距教學(Distance learning) 內容 The final six-hour course covers embedded systems security, focusing on key challenges and solutions. It includes an introduction to embedded systems security architecture. The next two hours will address major security threats like malware and data leakage. Participants will then learn about essential security measures, including authentication and encryption. The course concludes with practical exercises where participants design a secure embedded system and discuss real-world cases. 時數 (小時) 6 學習成果 To evaluate learning outcomes, the course will utilize various assessment methods. Classroom participation will be monitored to gauge engagement, while group discussions will foster knowledge sharing and critical thinking. Practical assessments will test participants' ability to apply their knowledge in designing secure systems.
