課程大綱	本課程將對於常見的化學及化學反應做簡單的概述，內容涵蓋有原子結構與鍵結、氣體、計量化學、酸鹼反應、熱化學、化學平衡、熱力學、電化學與高分子化學等。上課期間也會使用英文原文書，來幫助同學了解化學的基礎與提升外語能力。此外亦配合相關課程進行實驗操作，加深學習效果。 The course is a general survey of common chemistry and chemical reactions. The content covers atomic structure and bonding, gases, stoichiometry, acid-base reactions, thermochemistry, chemical equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and polymer chemistry. English text books will be used during class for helping students to understand the basic concept of chemistry and improving their English skills. Besides, experiments are carried out in conjunction with related courses to deepen the learning effect.
