課程大綱 This course is designed to strengthen students' English proficiency in basic grammar and sentence patterns, facilitate the improvement of reading skills and writing skills (the latter in the form of writing workshops), and enhance their competence in listening and speaking.

評量方式與標準 Attendance policy: Eight or more absences from Week 2 onwards will result in a grade of 0% for the course. Assessment: Group presentation (speaking) 20% School Mid-term 20% Writing test* 10% Final exam* (reading and listening) 40% Attendance and participation 10% * At the lecturer’s sole discretion, a make-up Writing Test or Final Exam may be granted upon presentation of a valid proof of illness (medical certificate or record of hospitalization) within 10 days of the date of absence.
