課程大綱 This course introduces students to the main tools and methods of Engineering Geology and the problems that can create the geological conditions in the construction of civil works. Topics such as rocks and minerals, soils, geomorphology, river systems, flood control and earthquake activity are discussed with special reference to local geological problems. Colloquium based on selected textbook.

Ductile deformation – fold and folding 9. Stress, strain and microtectonic analysis 10. Field geology 11. Active tectonics 12. Tectonic geomorphology 13. Natural hazards

評量方式與標準 homework 40 % report 40 % final exam 20%

If physical classes are not possible due to the epidemic, classes will be held in jitsi meet mode (AdvEngGeo_NTUT_24). Physical classrooms for 17-18 weeks will not be affected by classroom changes, so will continue to be held in the original classroom R505.
