課程大綱課程名稱：鐵道車輛技術與跨領域設計本課程開授之目標，在讓修習之學生能將鐵道車輛之工程技術與跨領域設計相互融合，在工程分析面能配合跨領域人文設計之需求，並在人文設計面瞭解工程之規範與要求。本課程內容包括鐵道車輛之系統基本架構、鐵道車輛結構及動態之基本工程分析技術、鐵道車輛車廂之功能性設計、及鐵道人文文化；本課程並配合軌道單位之校外參訪，讓課堂所學能與實務技術融合。本課程是以跨院合授的方式，由鐵道車輛技術研發中心、車輛系、文化事業發展系之師資共同參與授課。 Course Title: Engineering Technology and Interdisciplinary Design for Railway Vehicle This course aims to provide students with the knowledge of engineering technology and interdisciplinary design for railway vehicles. Design of railway vehicles should consider both the engineering and interdisciplinary cultural design at the same time. A designer should consider not only engineering regulations and requirements, but also concepts of cultural design. This course covers the basic introduction of railway vehicle systems, basic analysis of vehicle structures and dynamics, vehicle interior and exterior functional design, and railway culture. The industrial tour in this course helps students to realize the theoretical and practical parts of railway vehicles. This course is a joint lecture instructed by professional faculty from the Railway Vehicle Research Center, the Department of Vehicle Engineering, and the Department of Cultural Vocation Development.

Term Report (學期報告)：35% 4. Homework(作業)(一律上傳網頁)：10 % 5. In-class discussion, participation & attendance (上課答問&出席率): 5 % 6. Homework is due a week away from the day assigned. 1 point would be deducted from your homework for each day delayed. (作業上課前收。作業遲交一天扣1分。) 7. Copying and cheating are not allowed. If found copying and cheating, 0 points for the event. (嚴禁抄襲，抄襲者0分。) 8. Please set your phone to silent or vibration mode while in class; otherwise treated as an absence. (上課中，手機請關機或以振動方式收訊。違者警告並記矌課一次。) 9. You could have a makeup quiz, exam, or homework if you have the corresponding approved leave. (沒考試、沒交作業，一律0分計算。有核准之假單，才可補考、補交作業，並非該次不計。)
