課程大綱	Through listening comprehension of world news, this course aims to engage students in understanding the current international issues and events taking place in the world that are redefining our global reality and restructuring the world order. A greater goal of such studies of global issues and activities is to urge students to participate in the dialogues and actions to change and to make better of the world. The course content centers on listening, understanding, discussing and doing news report on selected topics and news to uphold all that matters for the aforementioned pursuits.
課程進度	I.Sources for international News (1) BBC News, NASA, The Economist, NBC NEWS, and Hashem Al-Ghaili Channels on Youtube (2) Global Issues (Facebook Page ) II.Syllabus Week One: Introduction . Theme One: Extreme climate and ecological disasters Week Two Human casualties resulting from extreme climate Week Three Rising sea levels and the loss of land Week Four Loss of farm land and fool/water shortage . Theme Two: Cultural/religious/economical conflicts Week Five The military clashes between superpowers on land Week Six The space competition between hostile countries Week Seven The invisible war of information via AI technology .
