課程大綱指導學生進行微學程相關研究，以培育其研發能力。每一位學生必須經指導教授選定微學程相關題目，獨立或數位同學成一組完成專題，並書寫印製。 Supervise students in conducting research related to micro-curricula to cultivate their research and development capabilities. Each student must select a topic related to the micro-curriculum under the guidance of a faculty advisor and complete the project either individually or in groups with a few classmates, followed by writing and printing a final report.

課程進度
(1-16週) SES (Subway Environment Simulation Computer Program)程式以隧道通風理論基礎，所發展出之一套一維地鐵模擬程式；並經由BART、Montreal Metro及美國其他城市捷運系統之驗證，而廣泛用於地鐵通風系統之設計模擬。 1.根據不同之隧道系統、 2.不同之車輛型式及各種不同之環控條件， 3.依設計者所需之各種運轉狀況模擬； 4.並提供連續之風速、風量、溫溼度、隧道壓損等數據， 5.以讓設計者評估設計之地鐵系統優劣，作為設計改進之依據。
