課程大綱本課程旨在發展學生獨立規劃及從事研究的能力，學生可在指導老師的指導下，依個別的需求選擇研究的方向，訂定題目，並獨立完成研究計畫，撰寫報告。專題研究範圍含：實驗研究量調查研究或質調查研究個案研究回溯研究文化比較研究理論闡述研究 This course is designed to develop the student's background for planning and conducting research independently. The nature of the project conducted will vary from student to student, but regardless of the genre of the project, it must result in a written research report. The research project must be conducted by the student individually. It is anticipated that the project will result from: an experiment; a descriptive study using quantitative procedures or qualitative procedures; a case study; a historical study; a cross-cultural study; a theory that offers an alternative interpretation to a current theory or model.

Week 4 Preliminary discussion of the secondary text Week 5 Preliminary discussion of the secondary text Week 6 Analyze secondary texts. Week 7 Analyze secondary texts. Week 8 Analyze secondary texts. Week 9 Prepare an outline of your paper. Week 10 Write a first draft of your paper. Week 11 Write a first draft of your paper. Week 12 Write a first draft of your paper. Week 13 Revise the first draft of your paper. Week 14 Further revise your paper. Week 15 Further revise your paper. Week 16 Finalize your paper (MLA Format). Week 17 Finalize your paper (MLA Format). Week 18 Present and Submit your paper.

評量方式與標準 Individual conference: 40% Timely submission of project assignments: 30% Timely revision: 30%
