| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 雲端運算是指透過網際網路進行擴充、消費或提供IT服務，因而顧客可隨時取用Web化的網路資源、軟體或資料。實際上，雲端運算 (Cloud Computing)是新一代的網際網路服務以及新一代的資料中心。本課程的主要內容包含網路基礎(含TCP/IP)、Client/Server和Intranet計算、雲端運算基本概念、雲端運算的核心技術、多人租用控制、雲端運算的服務模式、雲端運算應用架構、雲端運算的安全/私密/信任管理議題、雲端運算的發展策略以及結論。此外，本課程亦選擇一些有關雲端運算的期刊論文指定予同學研讀並於課堂上簡報和討論之。總之，本課程的教學目標是為了能讓同學完全瞭解最新的雲端運算之技術趨勢、應用發展以及服務管理。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | Cloud Computing is a new model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. Practically, Cloud Computing is new frontier of Internet Computing and next generation Data Centers. This course covers Networking Fundamentals (including TCP/IP); Client/Server and Intranet Computing; Cloud Computing: An Overview; Core Technologies of Cloud Computing; Cloud Service Models; Multi-tenancy Control, Cloud Application Architecture: Hadoop: HDFS, Hbase, MapReduce; Security, Privacy and Trust Management Issues for Cloud Computing; Developing Strategies in Cloud Computing; and Conclusion. In summary, the teaching goal of this course is to provide students with the full understanding in technologies trend, applications development, and services management of Cloud Computing. | |||
