| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 本課程始自ㄧ系列關於「現代哲學」的演講，特別著重於那個階段的幾個主要的思想家，如笛卡兒、史賓諾莎、洛克、休姆，與柏克萊。藉此讓我們得以瞭解理性主義、經驗主義，與唯心論。接下來，我們會探討：企圖整合理性主義和經驗主義的康德批判哲學、馬克思的歷史唯物主義、達爾文的進化論、佛洛伊德的心理分析，與當代的ㄧ些重要理論，如存在主義、海德格、邏輯實證論，與分析哲學。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | The course starts with a series of lectures on the history of modern philosophy with an emphasis of some major thinkers during that period of time such as Descartes, Spinoza, Locke, Hume, and Berkeley. By doing so, we would learn outstanding thoughts concerning Rationalism, Empiricism, and Idealism. We then shall move onto Kant with a particular look at his attempt of combining Rationalism and Empiricism into his Critical Philosophy. Afterwards, we will study Historical Materialism and the theory of Evolution provided by Marx, and Darwin, respectively, followed by a look at Freud’s psychoanalysis and some other major accounts in our time such as Existentialism, Heidegger, logical positivism and analytical philosophy. | |||
