This course introduces undergraduate information science students to the fusion of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), information services, and artificial intelligence (AI). Students explore core CRM concepts and learn how AI technologies—such as generative AI, chatbots, and recommender systems—are transforming how businesses analyze data, engage customers, and automate marketing and support. Through practical exercises and projects, students develop skills in using AI tools to gain customer insights, personalize communication, and design innovative CRM solutions. The course emphasizes teamwork, real-world applications, and data-driven decision-making to prepare students for roles in AI-enhanced CRM environments. Assessments include participation, assignments, group projects, and presentations, ensuring students can apply concepts effectively in the evolving AI-driven CRM industry.
