| 英文概述 English Description | This course is intended to contextualize craft and its relationship to art, fashion and culture. We will assume a variety of vantage points, historically, culturally and geographically to ask questions about changing political, economic, and social norms. What is craft? How does its disciplinary history set it apart from the study of craft industry? Through a serious of case studies, we will cover topics including East and West craft theories. | |||
