| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 本課程將介紹功能基因體學的知識、技術及其應用，內容包括兩大部份：蛋白質體學及基因體學。蛋白質體學的部分包含有蛋白質體學的簡介、質譜儀和蛋白質身份鑑定、蛋白質間交互作用、結構蛋白質體學及生物資訊在蛋白質體學的應用。基因體學的部分主要介紹研究基因體功能時所需要的理論、技術 (microarray, SNP and SAGE)及其應用，使同學在未來從事有關學術研究或相關產業時，能有更充分的準備。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | This course will introduce the knowledge, technologies and applications in functional genomics. It contains two parts; one is proteomics including introduction to proteomics, mass spectrometry and protein identification, protein-protein interactions, structural proteomics and bioinformatics on proteomics. The other one is genomics which will introduce the theory, technologies including microarray, SNP and SAGE, and applications in functional proteomics. | |||
