中文概述 Chinese Description | 本次更利用業界常用之光學模擬軟體RSoft以及COMSOL進行光學元件與系統設計,主要探討近代光學之應用,如光通訊,光敏材料和奈米光學結構等主題進行設計與討論。 課程最後使用專題來檢驗學生學習成果,可探討題目有一維光子晶體:薄膜干涉、抗反射膜設計,二維/三維光子晶體,微結構之穿透反射頻譜、能隙分布(BandGap)計算,Meta-materials:微結構天線、光學抗反射結構(隱形斗篷),基礎波動光學:雙狹縫干涉、單狹縫繞射、散射(Rayleigh Scattering、Mie Scattering)等。 | |||
英文概述 English Description | The used tool for this class is RSoft and COMSOL, common-used optical simulation software in industries. Students should present their work through final project presentations to examine their learning outcomes. The topics for final project include one-dimensional photonic crystals: thin film interference, anti-reflection film design, 2D/3D photonic crystals, transmission spectrum of microstructure, Bandgap calculation , Meta-materials: Micro-structured antennas, optical anti-reflective structures (invisible cloaks), basic wave optics: double-slit interferences, single-slit diffraction, and scattering (Rayleigh Scattering, Mie Scattering). |
