| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 本課程在講授與設計過程有關的智慧財產權議題，包括營業秘密、專利權、著作權和商標權等。修課學生可瞭解四大類智慧財產權與設計過程的關係。本課程會講授如何透過管理制度來保護設計創作的營業秘密，或來確立著作財產權的歸屬。本課程也會傳授申請專利的必要知識，以讓工業設計創作取得專利權的保護。關於商標權的內容重點放在商標檢索能力訓練和商標間是否有混淆之虞的判斷。最後，本課程更提供學生基本的契約草擬知識，以在未來設計服務業的經營活動中透過契約保護自我權益。應注意的是，修課學生將有義務參與課堂的討論。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | Course description: This course aims at exposing students to various intellectual property issues, for example, trade secret, patent, copyright and trademark. The students in this course will understand the relationship between those four categories of IP and design process. This course will discuss management systems related to trade secret protection of designs and copyright ownership clearance. This course will talk about patent prosecution for design patents. This course will also provide knowledge about trademark search and the standard of likelihood of confusion of two trademarks. Finally, the students will learn knowledge of contracting drafting so as to be able to use contracts as protective measures in their future careers regarding design service. It should be noted that the students taking this course are required to participate. | |||
