| 英文概述 English Description | This course aims at giving an approach to the study of television, popular music, popular literature such as magazines and best sellers, fashion and movies, as well as an examination into the influence of all aspects of our daily lives on our basic beliefs and values. It involves the use of methodologies from both the humanities and the social sciences in the effort to interpret expressive cultural forms. Students are encouraged to participate in discussion over selected topics from contemporary issues. | |||
