| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 一般人對染顏料的概念是可經由著色製程賦予物質色澤，然而近二十年來因為電子與複印產業的興起，使得染顏料在高科技產業的應用受到重視。雖然仍是利用染顏料具有選擇性的吸收可見光的能力，但仍因不同產業而有額外的要求。本課程即是探討應用於高科技之染顏料的性能以及結構式的關係。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | The traditional use of organic colourants is to impart color to a substrate such as textiles, paper, plastics, and leather. However, in the last twenty years or so organic colorants have become increasingly important in the high-technology (hi-tech) industries of electronics and particularly reprographics. These hi-tech applications present many challenges to the dyestuff chemist to devise dyes to meet the often demanding criteria required. This course describes how those challenges are being met in the important electronics and reprographics technologies. It also illustrates the vital role that organic colorants play in these application. Indeed, it gives a chemist's view rather than a physicist's or engineer's view of the electronics and reprographics technologies. | |||
