| 英文概述 English Description | This course aims to give graduate student a resource on the advanced principles and application of solar thermal energy system and processes. The material presented in the course covers several technologies for the conversion of solar thermal energy to provide electricity, hot water, heating, and desalination. The course outline mainly includes analysis of solar geometry and radiation, performance of sun-tracking solar concentrating collectors, solar stirling power system, solar water heating system, solar space heating and cooling system, solar optical lighting system. It hops that the student can apply the learned knowledge to the plan and design of many types of variable solar thermal energy system in year to come. | |||
