中文概述 Chinese Description | 地理資訊模型、生態資訊分佈及災害資料蒐集都牽涉到大量空間資料的收集和資料的空間分析,而統計正是處理大量數字的科學,因此具有重要的應用。 在本課程中將探討如何以機率的眼光看待空間的問題、將事件機率化、介紹重要的機率分佈及計算方式、建立統計模型、進行統計測試、採行多變數迴歸分析、處理點資料分佈、線資料分佈、進行鄰近程度分析、和處理方向性資料計算等,以使學生具備充分的知識,可以應用在空間資訊的研究、模型的建立、及程式開發上。 相關的統計知識及統計技巧也有助於學生進行論文研究、驗證收集的空間資料正確性、進行空間資料的平台交換、及完成空間資料的解讀。 先修課程:基礎機率與統計、程式設計 | |||
英文概述 English Description | Geo-information modeling, eco-information compilation, and disaster data collection all require the collection of massive amount of spatial data and the subsequent analysis. Statistics is the science of processing and using large amount of data. Therefore, it plays an important role in the comprehension of spatial information. This course will discuss probabilistic modeling, common probability distributions, statistical hypothesis tests, multiple regression analysis, distributions of points/lines, nearest-neighbor analysis, and the analysis of directional data. Students will learn how to apply the acquired statistical skills to geo-information research, model building, and related application development. The lessons learned in this course will also help them verifying the collected spatial data and interpreting the analysis results in their thesis research.
