| 英文概述 English Description | This course will serve as a basic introduction to the Internet. The purpose of this course is to help students to gain a better understanding of the Internet, and to develop the advanced skills for navigating the Internet. It will survey various tools that are used to access the Internet. The course covers several major areas: information retrieval, electronic communication, file transfer, creating web pages, etc. At the end of this course students will be prepared to demonstrate the ability to locate and use information using a variety of Internet tools and to critically evaluate information on the Internet. | |||
