英文概述 English Description | This course is an introduction to the electronic properties of materials. PartⅠ: using only"classical (pre-quantum)ideas"to introduce the concepts of electrical conductivity, light transmission, index of refraction, dielectric constant. Part Ⅱ: introducing quantum mechanics to elucidate the band theory of metals, semiconductors, and organic conjugated molecules. PartⅢ: few examples of optoelectronic devices, like p-n junction, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), field effect transistors etc. |
