| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 偏極雷達影像是合成孔徑雷達影像分析中的一種特殊應用，透過不同偏極電磁波對於地物結構散射的差異，使得傳統單頻率的合成孔徑雷達，能以類似彩色光學影像的假色形象呈現，也能進一步對地物結構特徵進行物種分類。本課程分為基礎與應用兩區塊，基礎區塊從雷達影像與電磁波偏極幾何出發，並加入偏極雷達影像資料統計；後期應用區塊則是介紹主流的偏極雷達資料分解、分類模型以及應用。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | Polarimetric radar image processing is a special application of synthetic aperture radar image analysis. Using the polarimetric scattering information of EMWave, a monochrome radar image can be extended to color image. It also provides another way to find target structure difference and classification. The course will be divided in two parts, basics and applications. The basic part will introduce synthetic aperture radar image, radar polarization descriptors, operators, and speckle statistic for polarimetric signals. The application part will focus on the famous polarimetric radar decomposition, classification methods and others. | |||
