| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 台灣科技發展史將討論二十世紀前半（1900-1950）部份重要技術引入台灣後，造成的影響與社會變遷。依時間先後，先從農業技術的變革-綠色革命。其次研讀有關電力與水利的技術發展，然後進入工業化初期的台灣社會變遷，以及二次大戰期間軍需工業所引導出的初期重化工業。除了這些技術與產業變革之外，也將兼論及技術人物群像與職業教育的開端。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | The main topics for class will discuss the important technology how to influence Taiwan society during 1900-1950. This class includes some important developments: Green revolution -it discuss about agriculture development; the technology development of electricity and water conservancy. In some topic we discuss about Taiwan society change in early days industrialization and chemical industry during world war II. Except those topics, technologists and the beginning of professional education in Taiwan will be introduced. | |||
