| 英文概述 English Description | Mathematics is a special kind of language, through which people can communicate well with each other. Mathematics is the mother of science, and thus is widely applied in many fields of science. Mathematics-abstract as well as concrete--is closely related with our life. How can we merge mathematics into our daily life? We will try to understand the origin and development of mathematics, the way how mathematics helps to advance human civilization as well as how mathematics contributes to the better world.
