Chinese Description 		自國父鼓吹革命，以迄民國肇造，多少英雄豪傑活躍於歷史舞台上。對於這些時代人物的臧否、評價，實有進一步認識和了解的必要，以便在閱讀此段歷史之時，能作出正確而客觀的判斷。是以本課程擬就民國時期中，較具有關鍵且影響力較大的人物作一公正持平的介紹。此外，台灣在日據時期，亦有多位民主鬥士，不畏異族的高壓統治，竭盡所能，鼓吹新思想、倡導民主運動，其精神實在可佩，對於這些人物我們不可不知，自然亦在我們所要講授的範圍之內。
英文概述
English Description 		Since the revolution of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, many people have played important roles in Chinese history. They have had much influences in our country. It is essential for our students to have further knowledge about them, especiallt during the period of Japanese occupation in Taiwan. There were many people who didn't yield to Japanese control and promoted the democratic movement in Taiwan. They loved the land and tried their best to advocate new thought.In the course, we'll make detailed and accurate introductions about them. Fair understanding will make the students have objective comments about historic persons and the history of the period.
