| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 本課程除介紹一般人口、文化與經濟系統，生產、交換與消費行為，探討農業、林業、畜牧業、漁業、礦業、製造業、服務業等產業與自然、人文環境間的相互關係，並試圖解釋各種資源的運用及其在國際貿易供需市場上的區位差異之外，更闡述台灣歷年來經濟活動的內部發展及其在世界舞台上的演變，並預測未來可能發展的趨勢，使學生了解台灣的成就，以把握未來自我努力的方向。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | An overall understanding of economic geography is viewed in light of population, culture and economic systems, production, exchange and consumption behaviors. This course also discusses the interaction among Primary Production Activity (such as agriculture, stock-raising, fishing, mining industry, forestry and woods, Secondary Production Activity (manufacture, for instance), Tertiary Production Activity and Quaternary Production Activity. Economic Geography attempts to explain why certain regions are outstanding in production and exportation and why others are significant in importation and utilization. Also included are the topics on the internal development of Taiwan in the past years and the role Taiwan has played in the world stage. Prediction on the world economy is made so that the students would better realize the achievement we have enjoyed and that they would have better command on the future. | |||
