| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 環境問題的解決，工程技術仍然是最主要最有效的方法。然而傳統環境工程偏向於問題發生後的管末解決，往往解決了一個問題卻有衍生出新的問題，致使得環境問題無法真正得到解決。本課程著重在從源頭污染的預防，透過清潔生產的技術及環境管理的作為，相輔相成以實際解決企業所面臨的問題。課程內容包含：環境問題總論、風險與暴露及其評估、綠色化學、製程單元之污染預防技術、污染預防機會評估、環境成本會計、生命週期評估，以及工業生態。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | Environmental engineering has been applied for decades and considered one of the most effective approaches in solving the environmental problems. However, traditional engineering didn't really solve the problem but rather shift one problem to another. In this course, cleaner production and pollution prevention techniques will be taught together with some latest environmental management tools to help students understand and use a holistic approach to really solve the environmental problems. Topics of the courses include Introduction to the Environmental Problems, Risk, Exposure and their Assessment, Green Chemistry, Process Units and their Pollution Prevention, P2 Opportunity Assessment, Environmental Cost Accounting, Life Cycle Assessment, and Industrial Ecology. | |||
