課程旨在讓學生深入了解 X 射線繞射(XRD)與 X 射線吸收光譜(XAS)的基本理論與實際應用,學習如何分析XRD粉末繞射圖數據,並計算晶體結構參數,如晶面間距(d-spacing)與結構因子(Structure factor),以及結構精算(refinement)。並同時掌握如何從 X 射線吸收光譜來解析材料的特性。此外課程中,將教導學生使用 Matlab與相關費軟體進行XRD數據處理與結構解析。提升學生理論與實驗數據分析能力。

English Description
This course is to teach students the fundamental theory and applications of x-ray diffraction (XRD) and x-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). These two x-ray techniques have become very important methods for structural characterizations on modern science. In the XRD part, students will learn how to analyze the powder XRD pattern from d-spacing, structure factor and Rietveld refinement. The illustration of XAS will include x-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy (XANES) and extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS). Meanwhile, the Matlab and relative free softwares will be used to do data analysis. Hope such combinations will enhance the capability of data analysis on students.
