A one-semester course in this field includes the fundamental principles of chemistry, the structure and nomenclature of matter, and the factors which govern molecular behavior. The theory and mechanisms of certain reations might be introduced, especially when it is helpful in answering to some curious student the question "why" of organic chemistry. | |||
