Course Objective	This course is to introduce elementary topics about solid-state physics in materials science. Topics related to the electronic property, lattice vibration and optical property would be included.
Course Schedule (Week 1-16)	1. Review of modern physics 2. Solid and crystal structure 3. Reciprocal lattice 4. Free electron gas 5. Energy band 6. Tight binding method 7. Band structure and density of states 8. Lattice vibration 9. Optical property
