Course Objective	Students will learn about optical design principles and specifics of various applications. The class will first give an overview of basic elements of optical systems and examine their working principles. Later systems are examined. Through exercises, students will be enabled to design advanced optical systems for experiments. The class is taught in English and all student assignments will be required to be in English.
