Course Objective	重要公告，全英語授課及課程要求 (All English Instruction & Course Expectations): 本課程所有教學內容（包括授課、教材、討論及評量）均以英語進行。英語程度不佳，上課聽不懂，或僅想輕鬆取學分的同學，請鄭重考慮後再選修。本課程為高等進階課程，具一定難度，預期及格率設定於 60% 至 80% 之間。 This course is conducted entirely in English (including lectures, materials, discussions, and assessments). Students with insufficient English proficiency, who may have difficulty understanding lectures delivered in English, or those merely seeking easy credits are strongly advised to reconsider before enrolling. This is an advanced-level course with a significant degree of difficulty; the anticipated pass rate is set between 60% and 80%. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to advanced manufacturing processes, with a special focus on Creep Age Forming (CAF) and Hot Stamping. Students will gain a theoretical understanding of the underlying principles, including the development and application of constitutive equations. A significant portion of the course involves hands-on laboratory work focusing on SEM analysis, creep aging experiments, and sample preparation (Weeks 3, 7, 9, 12, 15). Students will also practically implement constitutive equations using MATLAB and Finite Element (FE) software through subroutine coding. The course also includes open-book examinations (Weeks 5, 10, 14) requiring library research, with findings discussed in class. Selected weeks (4, 8, 13) will be delivered via online teaching. Important Course Notes 1. International Student Friendly: This course is designed to be welcoming and supportive for international students. 2. Language of Instruction and Assessment: For all students (domestic and international), all questions, presentations, and examinations must be completed in English. 3. Laboratory Requirement: In addition to scheduled class hours, this course requires frequent participation in laboratory experiments involving SEM analysis, creep aging, and sample preparation. The results from these experiments will be discussed in class and will contribute significantly to your continuous assessment grade. 4. Open-Book Exam Procedure: For open-book exams, students must come to the classroom to collect the exam paper, then proceed to the library to research and answer the questions. Answers and findings will be discussed collectively at the end of the relevant class session. 5. Online Teaching Weeks: Weeks 4, 8, and 13 will be conducted online. Evaluation and grading policy	• Attendance: 10% Policy: Students who are absent three (3) or more times during the semester will automatically receive a failing grade for the course. • Laboratory Work (SEM, Creep Aging, Sample Preparation), Literature Review Writing & Open-Book Exam Participation/Discussion: 20% • Midterm Examination: 25% • Final Examination: 25% • 課堂行為與印象分數 (Classroom Conduct & Impression Score): 20% To maintain a productive learning environment and ensure classroom discipline, all students are expected to actively engage with the course material and refrain from disruptive activities. 為維持良好學習環境及課堂紀律，所有學生應專注於課程內容，避從事干擾教學之行為。 Students found engaging in personal activities unrelated to the course content during class time (e.g., using mobile phones for social media, playing games, attending to private work) will, for that particular class session, receive a zero mark for any applicable impression or participation score component. 若於課堂時間從事與課程內容無關之個人事務（例如：使用手機聊天、玩遊戲、處理私人工作等），該堂課之印象分數或相關參與度評分將以零分計算。(課堂中老師不做提醒，直接評分)
