Course Objective 本課程提供學生們一個可以改善他們的科技英文寫作技巧的環境，內容將包括：1. 扼要複習英文句型與文法，2. 撰寫論文常發生的錯誤，3. 分享論文審稿的經驗，4. 提供淺顯實用的寫作原則，5. 同儕分享讀論文與寫作的錯誤心得。 This course provides an environment to help students improving their English skill in writing technical paper or thesis. What will be included in the class are: 1. concise review of sentence structure and grammar, 2. frequent writing mistakes of paper or report, 3. share of the experience in paper review, 4. offering simple and practical writing principles, 5. share the experience in reading and writing papers.

Course Schedule Week 1-2: Introduction to Technical Paper Writing Understanding the importance of technical paper writing Exploring various types of technical papers Week 3-4: Defining the Research and Establishing Objectives Formulating clear research questions and objectives Conducting a comprehensive literature review Identifying research gaps and contributions Week 5-6: Writing a Solid Introduction Developing a clear problem statement Outlining the paper's structure and organization Week 7-8: Writing the Methodology Section Describing research design and methodology Explaining data collection and analysis methods Week 9 : Midterm Exams Week 10-11: Presenting Results and Analysis Effectively displaying data using graphs, charts, and tables Interpreting results logically and objectively Week 12-13: Writing Discussion Summarizing key findings and implications Addressing limitations and suggesting future work Week 13-14: Enhancing Clarity and Coherence Improving sentence structure and word choice Ensuring logical flow between paragraphs and sections Week 15: Citations and Referencing Week 16: Peer Review and Feedback Exchanging papers for peer review Providing constructive feedback and suggestions Week 17: Finalizing and Proofreading Reviewing and editing the final draft Ensuring proper formatting and consistency Week 18: Final Group Presentations
