Course Objective 先修課程：負責教授同意。(1) 雷射器件簡介 (2) 雷射與物質交互作用 (3) 脈衝雷射鍍膜及加工 (4) 雷射光譜學及其應用 (光激螢光譜、拉曼光譜、非線性光譜、時間解析光譜等)。 Introduction to selected areas of laser applications, including the following topics. (1) Laser principles and instrumentation (2) Interactions between laser light and materials(3) Pulsed laser ablation, deposition, and material processing (4) Laser spectroscopy and the applications (including photoluminescence spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, nonlinear spectroscopy, and time-resolved spectroscopy, etc).

Course Schedule 1. Course Introduction – Overview of laser-related research directions and objectives (1 week) 2. Fundamentals and Experimental Setup – Study of experimental principles, system configuration, and operational techniques (3 weeks) 3. Literature Review and Theoretical Analysis – Guided observation of relevant experiments and analysis of underlying theories (5 weeks) 4. Hands-on Experimentation and Simulation – Execution of experiments and development of theoretical simulations aligned with research topics (6 weeks) 5. Final Project Presentation – Oral presentation and discussion of research outcomes (1 week) *All activities are tailored to individual research topics.

Evaluation and grading policy Class Participation and Engagement: 50% Final Project Quality and Presentation: 50%
