Course Objective Explore the principles, design, and practical applications of game-based digital learning. The content includes the advantages, characteristics, limitations, technology, media, design and development, systems, practical cases, and future trends of game-based digital learning.

Evaluation and grading policy Attendance 10% Classroom Participation 20% Class Assignment 40%(Please Join google classroom "ldhvsd3" for week's assignments) Final presentation and report 30% One, 2~3 students in a group, choose one of the following projest 1. Game-based digital learning is useful for learning (paper from SSCI) 2. Game-based digital learning is not useful for learning (paper from SSCI) 3. Develop an educational digital game (real product) 4. Use game-based digital learning to assist classroom instruction (experimental or action research) 5. Observe the process of using game-based digital learning by students (or family members) 6. Use minecraft education version to build a world for players to learn on their own (hands-on production) 7. Other issues related to the course(need to be approved by instructor)
