Course Objective 介紹化工廠廢棄物對安全、健康、環境之影嚮及化工產品之生命週期評估。舊程序之製程改善及建立完整的廢棄物管理體系，以達廢棄物最少化之目的，新程序之設計則對反應器、分離程序、熱交換器之程序整合及公用設施等，實施源頭減廢及回收，以達潔淨生產之目的。 Introduction to the safety, health and environmental impact of wastes of chemical process industries and life cycle assessment of chemical engineering products. Waste minimization of existing process through changes in industrial process and setup of waste management hiarachy. For the new process, focus are on the source reduction and recycle of reactors, separators, heat exchange networks and utilities, etc.

Evaluation and grading policy 1.成績計算：平時成績40%，心得與期中報告30% ，期末報告30%。 2.注意事項：上課需專心，禁止講話與其他影響他人上課之行為。上課點名，若有不克出席的情況，請上課之前請假，缺課過多將列入總成績評比參考。考試嚴禁作弊，違者嚴辦。
