Course Objective 電化學的領域包羅萬象，舉凡電泳作用與腐蝕現象的探討，電分析感測器或電池元件的製作，以及電鍍、拋光或鋁和氯氣的生產技術等均為電化學工程的範疇。本課程除了講述基本的電化學原理外，將著重於電化學分析方法在化學系統研究上的應用。 The field of electrochemistry includes many different phenomena (e.g., electrophoresis and corrosion), devices (electro analytical sensors and batteries), and technologies (the electroplating of metals and the large-scale production of aluminum and chlorine). In addition to an overview of the basic principles of electrochemistry, the main emphasis here is on the application of electrochemical methods to the study of chemical systems.

Course Schedule 課程進度：第1-2週：Overview and Discussion of Experimental Methodology 第3-4週：Overview of Equilibrium and Dynamic Measurements 第5-6週：Rates of Electron Transfer and Mass Transport 第7-8週：Equilibrium Measurements/ Nernst Equation 第9-10週：Potentiometry / Coulometry 第11-12週：Dynamic Measurements-Chronoamperometry 第13-14週：Dynamic Measurements-Polarography 第15-16週：Dynamic Measurements-Liner-Sweep and Cyclic Voltammetry 第17-18週：Impedance Analysis
